The Point of Contact!

Tuesday is a great day of the week for me. It's because of an early morning Bible study that several men and I take part in. I am so thankful to these men for helping me stay centered. We all need people willing to pour good things into our lives and that's exactly what these guys do for me.

Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens the wits of another Prov 27:17 (NRSV)

Oh, how I need sharpened! Enough dullness, enough of the lack luster, enough low living and thinking!

As we each spend time with the Father, in His Word, in His presence, we have opportunity to see ourselves in the mirror of His Word and make needed adjustments. It is from this platform we come together and the ability to sharpen one another is present. However, this ability to sharpen exists only to the extent that we are allowing God to form and shape us prior to the meeting. There is nothing special about me or about any of them, but there is something special about God's love being lived out in our lives. These guys get it and I'm thankful to God for them.

I do believe that, for all of us, our points of contact throughout the week (assembly related or not) have the potential to do great things!
