"I'm In A Hurry" by Alabama has always been one of my favorite songs. I love the the chorus and from time to time I revisit & seem to live out these lyrics .
"I'm in a hurry to get things done
Oh I rush and rush until life's no fun
All I really gotta do is live and die
But I'm in a hurry and don't know why"

I hate to admit it , but this sometimes rings true with me . Sometimes I do rush and rush until life's no fun.
I tend to allow the little things and all of the rushing around to suck the fun out of my life. One thing I do know is that it can happen quickly. I don't always notice it's taking place. My family, however, gives me little indicators pointing to the fact that I'm turning into someone who is no longer fun to be around.
I understand that life is serious and short, but it should also be enjoyed. As a Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, and Preaching Minister, I need to be reminded to not let the rushing of life suck the fun right out of it.
Be a fun person today and enjoy life!
Oh, one more thing, beware of the fun suckers!
