I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

It's so easy to read right past the word present. I need to present myself to Him. This is something I willingly do. No one can do it for me. I can't phone it in. I present.
I'm realizing this: If I'm wanting God to use my life and take control of it, I have to offer it. For me to want God to "take control" of my life without me offering it equals spiritual laziness on my part.
Knowing that God does not force His will on anyone.....Today I will willingly present myself to Him!
