They'll Get Like That!

I recently bought my son a new pair of boots just like my old pair. Mine are well worn and only look similar now in shape not in color. If you use the boots and don't put them on a shelf they'll get like that. Mine have character.....his will develop character as he uses them doing his father's business.

What has God given you to use? I'm reminded of this verses in Matthew 25:13-30 (read). Use what He's given you. That's the purpose! He is trying to accomplish something here and you are part of it. We are not the sacrifice for the world, but to the extent we reflect the Son, we are difference makers in it.

Just as my son's boots will be put to the test....so will our faith.
