System Restored!

My computer was infected with an Ad-Ware virus. My Virus software doesn't recognize ad-ware as a virus, but I do! If you've ever experienced this you know the headache it causes. Not good! I tried several things to remove it and finally went with the "system restore". I'm glad I could go back to an earlier time, prior to the infection, and restore my system.

At times my life needs a system restore. How about you? Many years ago I became a Christian. At that time I realized that my life needed more than I was able to provide. What a great God we serve! He not only provides the initial salvation from sin through Jesus Christ, He also provides the way for ongoing purification (1 John). You might call it a system restore.

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul."
Psalms 23:1-3 (NRSV)

Now that's what we really need!
