The Unseen Battle

I found this unnamed quote today and really liked it.

"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."

It's really true that everyone has their own struggles in life and some of them cross my path at times. I've often thought it would be interesting if everyone had a communication bubble above their head expressing what they were dealing with at that particular moment of the day. The sentiment of the quote above is actually Biblical in nature. "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.." Matt 7:12 (NIV)

It would be good for all of us to have such an attitude. It's too easy to be selfish and disregard the unseen battles that others are going through. So, give them the benefit of realizing that we all have bad days and unseen struggles. Give them the benifit of realizing that sometimes these unseen things alter our moods and thereby seep into our actions. Has it happened to you? I'd be interested to hear your comments on this one. Life is too short...be kinder than necessary!
