We Can't Do it All Alone

I love this scene from the movie "What About Bob?". In it Bob Wiley (Bill Murray) is tied to the mast of the boat because he is petrified to be on the water. He is yelling, "Isn't this a breakthrough, that I'm a sailor? I sail? I sail now?" After he gets off the boat on to dry land he tells everyone that he really let the boat do all the work, but he is a sailor!

We can't do it all alone. Oh, we may try, but we all need a supporting cast. The truth is we all need one another more than we realize. A sad thing would be to live life not recognizing our need for one another and mistakenly thinking we're doing it all on our own.
