Thanks for the Reminder!

My sister is wonderful! I admire her strength. She has survived much, including cancer. She is determined enough to take whatever comes her way.

She bought me a t-shirt as a gift that says "Whatever" on the front and the following verse on the back.

Finally, brothers & sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Phil 4:8 (NIV)

Thinking about these types of things makes a difference in my attitude. It's way too easy to dive off into the sea of negativity!

"I've never had a drinking problem, but sometimes I sure have thinking problems".

I'm wearing the shirt today and realizing some things in life aren't worth dwelling on, others are. Thanks for the reminder Sis!
