It seems that sometimes it is easily forgotten that Jesus is the head of the Church, not man.
we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ
Eph 4:15 (NRSV)
And he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church Eph 1:22 (NRSV)
Christ is the head of the church
Eph 5:23 (NRSV)
He is the head of the body, the church
Col 1:18 (NRSV)
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ. 9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, 10 and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority.
Col 2:8-10 (NRSV)
He has all authority in heaven and on earth. (Matthew 28:18)
A few times I've had to reset my computer by way of a restore point. By creating a restore point, you can save the state of the operating system and your own data so that if future changes cause a problem, you can restore the system and your data to the way it was before the changes were made.
If changes have occurred in "the system" of your life and Jesus is no longer the head , this would be a great restore point!
Have A Great Day!
